They have every convenience of home... Showers and bathrooms and they keep it clean and well stocked. There's a store for any other needs one may have. Ex. Snack food, microwave sandwiches, fishing supplies including live bait.

We are definitely pleased with the whole experience and plan to go back.

We do not like the new reservation thing they started. We used to stay there a lot at least one weekend out of the month but all the good sewer sites what few sewer sites they have are reserved and stay empty and forget getting a site for holidays especially fall festival. Wind Creek used to be a fun place to camp but a lot of that has changed. We did not even pull there this season. Our last stay was last year's fall festival and if you w stepped out of our camper wrong you would roll down into a ditch. We miss the old Wind Creek.

We stayed on my husbands new boat and we had an amazing time.

Beautiful park, great employees, but disappointed in the advertisement of the rates. Website did not make clear the senior discount was on the base rate (which was park's lowest rate of 20.50). We chose premium site which cost 52.00. That was a 25.00 increase over next lowest site. Premium lots are nice, but not worth that increase. And the holding fee is $20 which isn't needed in off season but they aren't eager to tell you that.

Wind Creek is an absolutely beautiful campground. With both 30 and 50 amp shore power, it is suited for everything from tents to the largest campers. There are inlets separated from the main lake where the kids can swim and play without worrying about fast moving boats. The bathroom facilities are extremely clean and air conditioned, and the entire park is well maintained. Wind Creek had become one of our favorite camping destinations.

This campground is excellent. Lake Martin is beautiful and the water is so clean, you can swim anywhere around the campground. We love the cafe being conveniently located. They have great burgers and ice cream is always a treat. I have always had pleasant interactions with all workers at the park. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is many of the camping spots are not level, a little cramped together, and some are angled the wrong direction leaving your door facing further away from the lake rather than closer. These are imperfections but overall they are minor sacrifices to an otherwise top notch campground.
